This was Chorleywood's first match of the season and a great deal is expected given the almost heroics of last.

Unfortunately the match against Langlebury was a total mismatch especially as they only had 8 players available and had to borrow 3 Chorleywood fielders. But we were very grateful to Langleybury for playing the match at all.

Chorleywood scored 132-3 with Josh Hodson being the highlight scoring 31 from only 8 balls. Callum Neal retired on 30 and rode his luck as he was dropped a number of times. Nick Aldersley also chipped in with a positive 28 not.

Chorleywood boys who fielded for Langleybury were extremely professional in their approach which was very good to see.

Langleybury were restricted to 41-5 in near darkness with Aaron Miler, Jack Higgins and Callum Willis all bowling particularly well.

The boys fielded extremely well and looked highly motivated and professional but the real tests are yet to come starting with Shenley Village on May 6th .
